TD Visa Mobile Alerts - an overview
A TD Visa Mobile Alert is an email message or mobile phone message sent to you through the TD Visa Mobile Alerts Service* to help you manage and track transactions processed within the Visa payment network on your TD Visa Card. You can choose which one, some or all of the 6 types of alerts available that you want to receive. For example:
• If a transaction exceeds a pre-set dollar amount (e.g. $100)
• If a transaction is made without the physical presence of your TD Visa Card (e.g., online shopping)
• If your TD Visa Card is used outside of Canada
You can choose to receive your alerts as a text message sent to your mobile device or as an email sent to your inbox. Alerts are sent in near real-time and include the amount of the transaction, the last two digits of the TD Visa Card used, and the merchant name and location (if available).
To set up your TD Visa Card with the TD Visa Mobile Alerts Service* you need to register your TD Visa Card at tdrewards.com. Then simply access the My Account > Set-Up TD Visa Mobile Alerts page and go to the SETUP ALERTS tab. For assistance, please call the number on the back of your TD Visa Card.
