How will I know if my INTERAC e-Transfer recipient has Autodeposit set up?
When you send money using Interac e-Transfer® and the recipient has Autodeposit set up, a message will appear before you send the money. The message will indicate that Autodeposit has been set up and the customer's name, as provided by the bank in which the funds are being directed, will appear.
Please ensure that the name being displayed (and email address or mobile number you are sending to) are correct. For Autodeposit recipients, the money you send them will be automatically deposited into their account.
