If you are a current TD customer you can apply for eligible products and services online through EasyWeb. From your My Accounts page that appears when you log in to EasyWeb, select Open a new banking account to start the process. If you prefer to use the TD app, you can open an account there too by selecting Add Accounts & Services after you log in.
You can also open an account in any TD Canada Trust branch. You will be asked for the following information:
- A valid passport or 1 piece of valid Canadian government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or permanent resident card)
- Social Insurance Number for tax reporting purposes
