You can post-date your payments up to a maximum of one year. The payment will be processed on the specified payment date. It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are in your account on the specified payment date. If funds are not available, the payment will not be processed. You may be subject to government penalties and TD Canada Trust service fees. If funds are deposited into your account at a later date, the missed payment will not be processed. You will need to initiate another payment.
