No, you don't need a mobile phone to receive one-time security codes. You can also use a land line and receive your code by voice message. You can add up to 5 phone numbers (including international phone numbers) to receive your unique security codes, so you can access your accounts no matter where you are.
Important: To update or add additional phone numbers in your Security Settings, you're required to have access to one of the phone numbers you've previously verified to receive a one-time security code.
