TD Canada Trust offers those 60 years of age or older discounted pricing on eligible-personal Chequing accounts.

Existing TD Canada Trust Chequing customers turning 60 years of age also qualify for Seniors discounted pricing on eligible personal Chequing accounts. The discounted price will be applied at the end of their birthday month.
Seniors collecting Guaranteed Income Supplement qualify for no monthly fee on the TD Minimum Chequing Account. Proof of eligibility is required: government letter confirming GIS eligibility.

If you are a current TD customer you can apply for eligible products and services online through EasyWeb. Select Add Accounts & Services from the left menu after you log in to EasyWeb. If you prefer to use the TD app, you can open an account there too by selecting Get An Account after you log in.
You can also open an account in any TD Canada Trust branch. You will be asked for the following information:
- A valid passport or 1 piece of valid Canadian government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or permanent resident card)
- Social Insurance Number for tax reporting purposes
