You can contribute securities in-kind from your non-registered account to your registered account in any of the following ways:
- Use the Securities Transfer function on WebBroker or the TD app
- Contact TD Direct Investing
Note: Security in-kind contributions cannot be completed directly into the U.S. Dollar component of the Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) or Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA). Contributions can be completed to the Canadian dollar component first, and then you can use the Securities Transfer function in WebBroker or the TD app to move the securities to the U.S. dollar component.
