Can I make a contribution to my TD Direct Investing spousal RSP account online?

Yes you can make contributions to your spousal RSP account online by using WebBroker or EasyWeb. 

EasyWeb 

The fastest way to deposit money to your spouse's RSP account online is to perform a cash transfer from your TD checking or savings account.  

Make a transfer in four easy steps 

  1. In EasyWeb go to Pay Bills > Add Payee.
  2. Under Payee Name, select TD DIRECT INVESTING SELFDIRECTED RSP: SPOUSAL DEPOSITS.  
  3. Enter your account number, including the letter at the end, under Account Number.

                                  

       4.  Once the RSP account is verified and confirmed, you can use Pay Bills to complete cash transfers. 

If you want to make a spousal contribution, and are unable to use WebBroker, please contact your local TD representative or visit a TD Canada Trust branch.

TD Easy Trade does not support spousal RSPs at this time.
