The first step is to open a new Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) or spousal RSP (SRSP) with TD Direct Investing by completing the account application online. You can also request for the transfer of your RSP during the account application.

Are you a TD Canada Trust or TD Wealth client?
You can open a personal or spousal RSP with TD Direct Investing over the phone and initiate the transfer at the same time. For more details, please log into the TD app and choose Contact Us or contact TD Direct Investing at 1-800-465-5463 to speak to an Investment Representative.
Do you already have a TD Direct Investing RSP account?
You can transfer to your existing RSP account by contacting TD Direct Investing or by visiting a TD Canada Trust branch.
