How can I withdraw funds from my LRIF?
Cash or security from an LRIF can be withdrawn subject to withholding taxes and the maximum and minimum limits.
Cash can be withdrawn in WebBroker. From the Accounts tab, select your LRIF account in the drop down menu, then select RIF Payments. Click the Make withdrawal button and follow the steps. To withdraw securities you will need to call TD Direct Investing.
In some jurisdictions, LRIF can be unlocked to the percentage authorized by the jurisdiction in addition to minimum and maximum amounts.
TD's Registered Plans Department requires a letter of direction (LOD) signed by the plan holder and all other required forms.
