How do I set up an automatic mutual fund purchase or withdrawal?
To set up an automatic purchase or withdrawal of mutual funds, please Contact Us.
Purchase
With a TD Direct Investing Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) you can purchase mutual funds and often avoid the higher minimum investment amounts required by some fund companies.
You must ensure that sufficient funds are maintained and available on settlement for the SIP purchases.
One option to ensure you have funds for your SIP is to also set up a Monthly Contribution Plan (MCP) or Pre-Authorized Deposit (PAD).
Set up a SIP with a minimum of $100/month and qualify to have the quarterly maintenance fee waived.
Withdraw
The Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) lets you redeem a prearranged amount of your mutual funds holdings (minimum $50). With a SWP, you can supplement your monthly cash flow, plan required minimum RIF withdrawals, or move assets between mutual funds along with your SIP.
