Retirement Income Fund (RIF) minimum withdrawal amounts range from 5.28% at age 71 to 18.79% at age 94. The percentage that clients will be required to withdraw from their RIF is capped at 20% at age 95 and above. For 2020, legislation introduced in March as part of the government's Covid-19 measures allows for a 25% reduction of the minimum required withdrawal; no recontribution of excess amounts already withdrawn is permitted.
