What should I do when my TD Credit Card expires?
If your TD Credit Card Account is in good standing, your new Card will be mailed to your home address up to 60 days before the month in which your existing Card expires. Your existing Card will continue to work until the last day of the month in which it expires. For example, if your Card's expiration date is June 2020, your Card is valid until June 30, 2020. You can expect to receive your reissue card between the end of April 2020 and the end of May 2020. Your new Card must be activated before your old Card expires in order to continue using your Card.
If you do not receive your new card prior to the old Card's expiration date, please contact TD Credit Cards.
You must provide Merchants with adequate, correct, up-to-date information for any pre-authorized payments, including if your Card number or expiry date changes. However, if you have a pre-authorized payment with a Merchant and your Card number or expiry date changes, you agree that we have the option to provide that Merchant with your new Card number or expiry date. This option includes using the updating service provided to us through VISA*.
